Empire-style chaise longue with an ivory-white lacquered frame, an asymmetrical, undulating backrest, and a carved spiral side volute featuring a central rosette. The front frieze features a gilded acanthus leaf motif in relief, and the curved legs are topped with claw feet resting on balls. Upholstered in gold damask with scattered tufting on the seat and a matching cylindrical cushion at the end of the backrest. Found in 19th-century salons.
